Tears Of An Angel
A faint glimpse of sadness strays upon your face,
Then leaving quickly without a trace.
A forced smile plays at your lips,
But I know that inside your hear, the blood drips.
Soundlessly trickling in the dark of night,
Will you never agree, but only fight?
For the ripened juice of love that was ours,
Has been taken away by envious powers.
Jealousy drives them to their hate,
Where they decide their own horrible fate.
So, before they take me, with barely enough time to say goodbye,
And another day in life quietly passes by,
Let me say these last words,
Before the night overcomes and endures:
Let fall the tears of your angel upon your cheek,
And let your love shine out and never be meek.
